Hotel Island - Spa & Wellness Hotel Reykjavík, Reykjavík

Our hotel stay was ideal for a romantic getaway but also spacious enough for our family of five. We enjoyed a large room with a great city view, and the early check-in was a nice touch. Although slightly out of the center, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making our stay pleasant. The dining options were good, albeit standard, and the location offered easy access to transportation to Reykjavik.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The rooms were old-fashioned but offered a stunning view overlooking the mountains towards the sea and cruise terminal. However, not being able to control the room temperature made me have to keep the window open for air circulation. The natural daylight flooding the room all night long was a unique experience.
