Reviews and Ratings
Our hotel stay was ideal for a romantic getaway but also spacious enough for our family of five. We enjoyed a large room with a great city view, and the early check-in was a nice touch. Although slightly out of the center, the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly, making our stay pleasant. The dining options were good, albeit standard, and the location offered easy access to transportation to Reykjavik.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and not-so-good experiences. The rooms were old-fashioned but offered a stunning view overlooking the mountains towards the sea and cruise terminal. However, not being able to control the room temperature made me have to keep the window open for air circulation. The natural daylight flooding the room all night long was a unique experience.
The hotel had a mixed experience with some positive and negative aspects. The location was great for those driving, with good parking and within walking distance of Reykjavik center. The rooms were extremely hot despite the cool external temperatures but were somewhat outdated. The service was a bit cold upon arrival and during the stay, with some staff members being rude. The dining options were reasonably good, with a wide selection, but there were some disappointments. Overall, the hotel offered some value for the money paid.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic! The rooms were gorgeous, spacious, and very clean, providing a very comfortable experience. However, there was a continuous smell of stale smoke throughout our stay. The service was amazingly helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. The location, although not near anything walkable, was highly recommended for its overall experience. The dining options were abundant, offering a wide variety of delicious food. Overall, a great stay with minor room odor issues.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, although not as modern as advertised, were surprisingly clean and well-equipped. However, the pillows were too flat, and requesting extras is a must. The service was a bit of a hit and miss; some staff members were friendly and helpful, while others lacked warmth. The location, though not ideal for downtown access, was still close enough to be convenient. The dining options were varied, but the quality of some hot dishes left much to be desired. Despite some drawbacks, the facilities overall were satisfactory.
